2010 Partnerschaft Turnier

On Saturday, 28 August 2010 our team, consisting of players from Idar-Oberstein attended and competed in a Basketball Tournament celebrating the Partnership of two cities, Simmertal and Oudon France.  The event was held at the Heinzenwies Schule in Idar-Oberstein.    We the members and players of the Sports Club TV 1848 Oberstein would like to sincerely thank my friend Ernst Öelling, the Director of this event for his invitation and the schools warm hospítality.  Both our young boys and young mens team enjoyed the event tremendously.   It was a very friendly, but also some what competitive game against, not only the two French teams, but also the two American teams from Baumholder.  We all look forward to the next tournament hopefully next year.  Thanks again to all who made this event such an enjoyable day and a great success.   To all the teams from France and Baumholder, we hope you and your family and friends enjoy the pictures of the game.  Until next time keep on Bballen.
